Biom 4 (GLP21) digibok innehåller modulen BI4 Cellen och ärftligheten. De studerande fördjupar sig i strukturen hos celler med cellkärna. I början av modulen studerar de bland annat biomolekyler och i slutet cellkärnan och DNA. Teman är till exempel cellernas förökning, mitos och celldelning. Dessutom går vi igenom ärftlighetens grunder. De studerande lär sig experimentellt arbete och utför själva ett sådant.
