Doctoral dissertation on resilience of individuals in the context of law enforcement.

Many organizations, including the police, actively search for tools and methods to improve the performance of their personnel functioning in demanding positions under stressful conditions. Improved situational awareness and a better decision-making ability increase security by lowering the risk that law enforcement officers make decisions leading to unwarranted use of force, something that serves the interests of police officers, citizens and those of the clients of the police alike.
