Leevi and the Leavings oli pitkälti lauluntekijä Gösta Sundqvistin (1957-2003) luomus, mutta visionsa toteuttaakseen hän tarvitsi bändin. Nyt pääsevät ääneen hänen luottomuusikkonsa Risto Paananen, Juha Karastie ja Niklas Nylund, jotka kertovat yhtyeen albumien synnystä.
